Hard to believe another year has passed. This year, the Mojave Muleskinners gathered at Apacheland Movie Ranch to welcome in 2004. Little did we know, it would be for the very last time. Apacheland burned to the ground more than a month later on February 14th, 2004. A full encampment was set up right on Main Street. Gunfights....hangings.... performances lasted throughout the day and evening. It was a wonderful turnout of old friends and new friends from the Pioneer Living History Museum. On New Years Day, Preacher held service in the old church and introductions were made to new piano player, Ernie Begernie, the Swede. A rendition of the "Ballad of Otis" was performed, much to the delight of the audience.
