Single Action Shooting Society's National Championship Of Cowboy Action Shooting, Encampment And Frontier Exhibition . Produced By The Arizona Territorial Company Of Rough Riders. Ben Avery Shooting Facility, site of Winter Range, is located in
the beautiful Sonoran desert north of Phoenix. To reach Ben Avery Shooting Facility from Phoenix, go north on I-17 to Carefree
Highway (exit 223). Turn left at the stop sign, and take the overpass over the
freeway. After crossing the cattle guard, the range entrance will be on your
right. Follow the Winter Range signs across the range to the parking area.

Mojave Muleskinners and fellow reenactors travel back in time at the Cowboy
Poetry & Music Festival for a day of walking among the hallowed streets of the
old Gene Autry Ranch where "Gunsmoke", "Magnificent Seven" and many other
Westerns were filmed. Melody Ranch is only open to the public once a year during
this Festival. The renowned HBO series, "Deadwood" was filmed there.

May TBA 2011 Wild West Encampment

Pioneertown, CA
This
encampment is for all cowboy reenactor groups, cowboy action shooter groups,
mounted shooters, Civil War reenactors, living historians, Native American
history groups, Western Hispanic historical reenactment groups, Sutlers,
mounted Calvary and period vendors. The encampment is a time to relax,
perform, meet other groups, eat good food and spend some time in the high
desert where numerous events of early California history took place, from the
the 1840's to beginning of the 20th century. NOTE: Proof of Insurance required
if you will be performing. As always, no live ammunition and a gun safety
check will be made. Pioneertown is a living old western town where TV programs
and movies of the late 1940's and 1950's were filmed, including Gene Autry TV
shows, The Annie Oakley show, Range Rider, The Cisco Kid and a long list of
various western productions. Free camping is available and there are several
hotels in the nearby towns.

Shoot Out On Whiskey Row ·

July 22-25, 2010. The Prescott Regulators & Their Shady Ladies,
Inc. would like everyone to join them at their annual Shootout on Whiskey Row.
This year's event will take place on the Square at the corner of Cortez and
Goodwin Streets.

Mojave Muleskinners rendezvous in Virginia City, Nevada.. In the time
between the early 1860's through the 1890's, Virginia City was one of the
largest and most sophisticated cities in the west. Today, this notoriety is only
surpassed once a year with the arrival of the Mojave Muleskinners! The weekend

More than 200 tons of dirt will be dumped on the streets of Old
Sacramento as the annual festival "turns back the clock,"
transforming Sacramento's historic district into a scene straight out of the
1850s. Costumed re-enactors, Wild West gun fights, musicians playing period
instruments, and many aspects of life during the Gold Rush will be highlighted

The Wild West
Gunfighter Competition and Encampment hosted by the Border
Renegades at the Stagecoach Days Celebration in Banning is a great place to
take your family and friends to reenact the old west. Daily through out the
weekend you will find excitement and laughs while watching this old west
gunfighter competition. Don't forget to walk through the encampment to see and
talk with the craftsmen while they work their trades. Gunfighters competition
will be on Saturday Afternoon with top prize money of $300. Gunfight shows will
be both Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday costume competition will take place with
trophies only awarded to top participants

Mojave Muleskinners have chosen this date to host a charity event for the Loma
Linda Ronald McDonald house. Any help we can get in spreading the word is
appreciated. All old west re-enactment groups are welcome to attend - must have
insurance. Any inquiries for this event please contact Lucky at 760-808-0348 or
check back to our calendar for event information. Encampment is forming and there’s plenty of
room. This charity is very important for parents that need assistance during
critical medical procedures for their children. The organization provides
housing free of charge during those trying times and is a non profit
organization and needs our help. Thanks for all your help in this
wonderful charity event.
