"Howdy, Just wanted to send a big thanks to all of you who helped make the Apacheland event a huge success!!!! What a great weekend it was. We were given full use of the town and all of the buildings and we took full advantage of it. Right down to the church! Thanks Windy Bill and Preacher for making this an event we will always remember! Also Capt Ball, the Barn had to be opened up and aired out before they could put any livestock back after your nap. The town folk were very pleased with us and have welcomed us back whenever we would like. Also an extra big THANKS to Whitehorse for staying behind on Monday and helping Judge, Preacher, and Miss Nellie Belle clean up and tear down camp, we owe you big time Whitehorse. Hope everyone will be able to make it if this goes again."  Judge Geraldo & Miss Nellie Belle

"Howdy to all, I, Sheriff Ricochet and the Barstow Chamber of Commerce wish to thank you for participating in the second annual Barstow Mojave Trail Days event. We all had a great time and raised a lot of money for the children's charities (Happy Trails, Boys & Girls Clubs, St Joseph's Youth Group, and more). We hope you can join us at next year's event along the historic Mojave Trail. Again, thank you for joining us at the opening Cowboy/Gunfighter event of the year. Also, I am honored to be a member of the Mojave Muleskinners and am inviting you to come and give a helping hand for next years event. An event of this size is an endeavor and the need for volunteers is huge, so if you can  help please contact me for more information." ~ Sheriff Ricochet ©2007

"My family and I just happened to be visiting Bodie (for our first time) on August 18th -- we had no idea that your group was going to be at the park that day. The period dress and reenactment made for a stellar visit -- our seven year-old son was especially thrilled when your members took the time to speak to him both in- and out-of-character.  You have an outstanding organization!" ~ B.Q. "TOTALLY AWESOME! This was the ultimate weekend. I don't even know where to start. Thank you all for coming and helping to make this the best ever. There were so many people that made this special.  We had music from "Professor" Dave Bourne, Jeannie on the Dulcimer, Windy Bill and Preacher, Hawk, Hans, Capt. Ball, Maureen, Franklin and many more. Chance did a wonderful service, our new friend Simpat showed us his special effects make up skills and we had several great bartenders with Cutter in the lead. Soapy did his shell game and we got treated to a magic show by the unbelievable Whit Haydn, Vice president of the Magic Castle. No matter how often you see his tricks, you are always amazed again. He already has pictures up on his forum: http://scoundrelsforum.com/index.php?topic=2086.0  and he brought a fellow magician to deal Pharo.  Judge Geraldo made another sign and too many to mention pitched in with supplies. I couldn't even dirty up the pans fast enough that (Madame) Marylyn cleaned them.  All together we had close to 100 people and my daughter Nadine with the grandkids came from New Mexico. That was of course a highlight for me. I hadn't seen them in months. I am working on getting pictures on the website but have to wait till I get some from (Madame) Marylyn. Anybody has some to share ,please send them to me. Happy thanksgiving to all. Keep the old west alive"  German Pete & Minnesnowta Maureen @ 2008

"We love the Mojave Muleskinners for their loyal, faithfulness, politeness, kindness, and all the good Boy Scout stuff. They have supported us in every endeavor we have asked. This latest venture - the two book signings of my novel, ACROSS THE BRAZOS, is evident of all this. We in turn have shot them off their horses in parades and in outhouses when we got the chance. They die real good." - Ermal as JOHN WAYNE

"Howdy all, Just wanted to say thank you for all the support from everyone. We had a great member turnout and a little bit of fun to boot. And though the event had it's share of challenges, we still performed as great as always, to a packed house, for 12 shows, and entertained both the young and old. I think we, as well as the crowd, enjoyed the heavier loads on Sunday. A special thanks to : Judge Geraldo, Sarge, Gnarly, Smilin Jack, and Cutter, for all your time and energy. "Howdy Muleskinners; On behalf of the Gunfighters for Hire I just want to thank all of our Muleskinner friends for coming out to Pioneertown (last weekend) to make this encampment a success. The encampment gives us all a chance to see old friends and just kick back. The people I had a chance to talk to were on vacation from back East or Europe. And one of the best compliments we received from one of them was that we all looked like we just fell off a Remington picture. Well that says it all. A little dirt never hurt anyone. The Muleskinners are as close to the real deal as your going to get!" Thanks again, Chance, President GFH. Also proud member Mojave Muleskinners # 77© 2008

Howdy kinfolk, I just wanted to say to everyone that this years Pi-town encampment was fantastic. This year we had the saloon runnin better than ever, except for the absence of Professor Dave Bourne who suffered an eye injury at the last minute and had to go the hospital. Our heart goes out to him and hope he gets well soon. All of the groups that played to the nines, (Law Dogs N ladies) and others who were there for the first time. We had a time. Always great to see new faces. Thanks to the pony express for commin to get robbed by Gunfighters for hire, and the Posse who always put on a great show. Thanks to fellow members Greg and Terry Caldwell for the use of the town and the saloon, who are on a memorial road trip to Maine to visit family in honor of her father who passed away in April. Hope you guys arrive safe and get home soon, we miss you. A special thanks to Rufus T for donating the holster and gun belt for the raffle. That really will help Greg and Terry offset some of the utility bills we used up. To all of you who missed it........... Next year will be another time to do some killin and robbin, and hangin... with kinfolk. If i missed anyone, Ya'll know we were thinkin of ya and miss ya. See ya'll down the trail...Lucky and Liz Sumtyms ©2009

Hi there!
My name is Brianna, I live in Boston, and I am a big fan of re-enactment and all things wild west...I just wanted to let you know how wonderful, visual, and exciting your website is...it's the best thing around as far as reenacting groups go, and it really paints an amazing picture of your commitment to the spirit of  the old west!
Thanks, Brianna

This contact is to report the capture and detention of three rowdy scoundrels, Smoky Jack, Ricochet, and Snake Dancer. These three devils practically destroyed the Hamburger Patty's Restaurant at 197 West 200 South in Parowan Utah. We are considering forming a lynch mob to take care of the problem. If they ever get out of jail we hope they will come back so we can take care of them once and for all. If any of the rest of your rowdy bunch ever come up this way come on by, we will be ready with guns loaded.
Sincerely Gaylord and Gwen Robb - Proprietors

Hello Madame Marilyn (www.madamemarilyn.com)
How are you? Just wanted to pass on mine and Paul's sincere thank you to you for taking such wonderful pictures of our wedding! We are truly happy with the photos, and we have had many compliments from friends and family too - so I wanted to pass that on to you. We had such a lovely time, and the day was just perfect for us - we would not have changed a thing!
We also wanted to ask you whether you could pass on a sincere thank you to the fantastic re-enactors (Mojave Muleskinners) that we met after the ceremony, who helped to make our day so special and memorable providing us with a "wedding cake", treating us to their homemade chicken sandwich, and celebrating us by shooting pistols!!. Send them our love and tell them we really appreciated them being so lovely and welcoming.
Again - thank you, from both of us
Love from
Anneli & Paul
